Quiet and alone in the dark I sit
Once caused fear but now I’m content
It no longer matters what the others think
My self worth is afloat and it will not sink
I may be harsh, I may be dark
I never said being in my world was a walk in the park
Love you I do, but in my own dark way,
I will be sad if you go but I cant make you stay
I love the sun, but I prefer the shade
Those that have balance really have it made
The moon bathes my world in a silvery light
I no longer run from the shadows in fright
To much time in the sun makes me burn
For the moonlight’s embrace I do yearn
Till the world once more spins around
And laying in the sun is where I will be found
Until I'm Laying In the Sun
